This building is well-maintained. I have no regrets whatsoever about moving here. I grew up a few blocks away from this building and I remember how the area gradually became gentrified--a far cry from the days when you could get mugged in Alphabet City in the afternoon. The building is very clean, the front desk is friendly and the management office is very receptive to any questions and concerns. I will probably live here until I buy my apartment. I say this as someone who has a 60-70 hour work week and expects to come home to some place that's clean, friendly and professional. I'm a happy customer of Avalon.
