I was born and raised in this beautiful apartment. I have seen the best, and the worst. Let's start with the worst...oh wait, there are no bad points to this building.

My family and I are well acquainted with the concierge staff, the doormen, the maintenance staff, etc. They all know your name. They attend to your every need right away. Weird flashback as I write this. Several years ago, I managed to break the sink in the bathroom (note to self: never sit on a sink...makes for a very funny story, but bad clean up). This happened in the middle of the night. I called the front desk, and they came cleaned it up within minutes and they replaced it with a new one the next morning.

The neighborhood is super safe, beautiful, lively, and vibrant. Restaurants, museums, schools, everything is fantastic. As is all of NYC, street parking is hard to come by, but parking garages are plentiful.

After 21 years, I am sadly (more like depressingly) relocating from the building and neighborhood (and State for that matter) due to my job. I am currently searching for a similar apartment building, and all of my searches fail. I guess I might just have to lower my expectations as I continue searching, because this building and staff are a perfect 10!

You will not find a better management company that cares about their property, their tenants, and the children. They host numerous holiday parties throughout the year, both kid themed and several adult themed socials.
