I've lived at the Crest for nearly two years now and yes, there have been ups and downs. First of all, be prepared to live in a college dorm atmosphere. It really all depends on what floor you live on, but some have experienced loud noise, pounding on walls and nonstop music. I have been fortunate enough to live on a quite floor. Second of all, most of the residents are really nice and courteous and fairly young. (If you want to meet people, this is a good place.) Thirdly, most of the staff are great, the doormen, the front desk, the maintenance, etc. have been really great to tenants. My complaint, however, lies with the management. The owner of the building will usually try to listen to tenant's concerns, but often times passes the baton to his management staff, which are completely UNPROFESSIONAL and INEFFECTIVE. They will lie to your face in covering up their mistakes and will never at one point show any respect or courtesy. How they get away with this type of service at a self-proclaimed "luxury apartment" completely astounds me. They have repeatly entered my apartment without notice or warning and as a result, personal items have been stolen. It's gotten so bad that the police have been involved and all throughout this, the management continue to take NO responsibility. For all I know, they are still breaking and entering my apartment while i'm at work. If you are a current or future tenant, I really hope you never have to deal with their cavelier, disrespectful ways. I only post this as a warning in sharing my experience. Just PLEASE be wary before thinking of renting here.
