Joke of a building

This is easily the worst apartment I have ever lived in. The building staff is unprofesional. At one time, the desk staff was the only thing going for the building. Now, even that is gone. Two weeks ago, I came into the building late on two nights and the front desk person was ASLEEP. Plus, he wasn't even asleep at the desk (as if by accident) but he had brought a lawn chair and was asleep in the lawn chair.
THe building management has no respect for the tenants. A key example of this is that construction crews were working all night the last couple of nights pounding and sawing in the building next door, which is owned by the same company. It sounded like the crews were in my apartment. Just wait until someone moves in there!
The building was clearly constructed on the cheap. Things are constantly falling apart, the "great room" still isn't finished - with ceiling lighting fixtures on the floor. You can hear your neighbors if they cough, smell their smoke if they smoke. The wallpaper in the common area has moths as a background, it looks like the owner bought it on overstock.com.
For the amount of rent charged in this building, go to one of the other new apartments in the financial district, if that is the neighborhood you want to be in. But stay far far far away from the crest.
