Still the best deal From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/3/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007   I was upset to find my rent taking a big jump when I received an extension offer. I was planning on moving out and finding a cheaper place in the area. I called several local brokers, searched craigslist and was shocked. The area has become more expensive, but I had no idea how much. After several visits to other building sin the area, I realized I was still getting the best deal here. I also realized the cost of moving, changing paperwork, ID, mail, etc was not worth it. The only way I would see any savings in rent is to move to Queens!'! I'd rather not deal with subways and communiting. The area is super-safe and I can walk to work, this is priceless. I wish my rent didn't go up as much, but I will sign a 2 year lease and save myself an increase next year. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
