While a Wall Street address seems like a nice idea, I would not recommend this building to ANYONE. Not only is the management horrible and will ignore you after you sign your lease, the Front Desk is rude and unhelpful. They let strangers into the building.
The hallways are filthy and the laundry area is still not open after 7 months of living here. I have to lug my laundry to 63 which I was promised would not be more than 1 month after I moved in (February 07). I have had numerous issues with appliances and ac/units and I had to harrass them to get everything completed.
I can hear my neighbors at all times, I smell their smoke and food. The closet space is a complete joke.
I hear trash trucks all hours of the night and Wall Street has been under construction so I wake up to the sound of a jackhammer since I arrived
For as much as I pay, I am getting nothing in return except a complete headache.

Metroloft is nothing but trouble. Anyone that considers leasing an apartment from them should be aware that it is most likely a mistake that they will spend the next year regreting!
