Don't even think of moving here. Both high floor elevators have been down for a month now, so we're stuck using the extremely slow service elevator. They just announced today that one of the elevators will be out for another 3 weeks and there will be updates for the other one, which means it will probably be out even longer. What's going to happen when the service elevator breaks down with over usage' Management is a joke. They don't ever answer their phone or return phone calls. I had an issue a while back so I called them and no response, then I decided to go to their office on the 11th floor at 20 exchange place and they were there. I honestly think they purposely don't answer their phones because trust me they are there.

living here for two years, there seems to be rarely a time when an elevator is NOT out of service. I can understand that they breakdown, but on average, it takes mgt. two to three months to get them fixed! NY has a million elevators -- i'm sure there are plenty of elevator repair/maintenence companies available in NY, but mgt. is just way too cheap. And I agree with the poster -- they do NOT answer the phones. I have called quite a few times in the last couple of years... and never available. Can't wait to move out.
