while the leasing office is located in 63 wall street for both of the building, they conveniently took us to show apartments in 67 wall without having to walk outside, through the interconnected pathway on the lounge floor. For the entire showing and signing agreement period, they have NEVER mentioned about the entrance problem they had with 67 wall. It is a scam. I spoke with several tenents, they all had the same story. The leasing office DO NOT MENTION A THING about the entrance being closed, and we have to walk around the building to 87 beaver street entrance. Whenever i ask the doorman/management people about when is the entrance going to be done and ready, they said in 2months, that was last July. I asked again in September when the entrance is still closed, and no sign of getting the work done/in progress, they said in 2 months, i will get fixed. In November, same story, and now it's February. Are they kidding' One might say what is a big deal about the entrance, and going around the building, but seriously, it's annoying to go to the back door, where the street is dirty, smells like urine all the time, and now there's paint all over the street from the construction of Cafe Bravo. This entrance problem pissed me off so badly i want to break the lease ASAP.
Second biggest problem is the Gym. Since late December, there has been some copies of A4 paper with the notification saying they will renovate the Gym in the first part of new year. Yea right the first part of new year... they have not done a thing. There are about 7 threadmills, only 2 of them have working TVs. out of 78 elliptical machines, only 3 have working TV's, and ALL of them, some parts of the machine is broken, the handles loose and stuff like that. Two bicycles are partly broken, the handles hang everywhere, and TV's don't work. The bicycles that you sit on, out of three, only 1 has a working TV, the other two all broken everywhere. ------ GYM, and when the leasing office is showing you, they say it's all brand new, up to date quality whatever, all the --------.
DO NOT RENT HERE. with the same price, you can go next door, and i know other apartments are offering 1 2 or 3 months free rental apartments... i can't wait to move out, i'm seeking to break the lease.

Almost left 37 Wall last year to go to 67 Wall but due to the big headache the leasing office created for me while trying to sign... I ended up resigning with 37 Wall in less than a day. Only reason to move was to save a few hundred bucks in which now I resigned at 37 Wall for an apartment twice the size of the studio at 67 Wall for a few hundred bucks more.
Not to mention I never have any complaints with 37. :)

I agree with the first review.
My building at 67 Wall st is an office building converted residential building. the address stated Wall st, but the Wall st entrance has been "in construction" for the last one year so tenants has to enter through Beaver st. Half of the machines in the gym is broken (through out 2 years I was living there) no one ever came to fix or clean. It was filthy on most of the days. Windows are not sound proof because it was an office building so good luck if you are not a heavy sleeper. because even on the days when there is no construction going on on Water st or Wall st (which is rare) the garbage truck comes 4 am slaming metals on the ground in the morning and you could even hear drunk people talking on weekend nights.(outside on the ground floor, and I lived on the 16th). You could tell the material they use at the building is very cheap, the floor chips and cabinet door fell off the first month I lived there ( it looks good in the begining until you need someone to come fix something and they dont come until 2 months later) I wrote complain letter to the management 3 , 4 times regarding the gym equipment no one ever bother to return my message. When I emailed them, they replied with rudeness.
There are 4 elevators, but the system is not linked together so you have to press on both sides and that results in excessive electricity charge on tenants.
to round it up, I am upset with the rudeness or management people, they dont respond to you when they absolutely have to, they manage to upset you.
The building is not too great, I suggest anyone who's looking to live in the financial district, avoid buildings from Metroloft Management.
