I moved in recently and was very concerned about the elevator that serves the higher floors. I spoke with the super and was told "it is almost done"; that was May 1st. Today I actually rode the fixed elevator and as well as other relieved residents.
The doormen are fantastic and the building is really beautiful. Being on a high floor gives me so much light and quiet. I honestly do not feel like I live in the city at times. Many people have complained about the gym on this website. It is seldom crowded, it has great windows (not like the gym in my previous building, basement dungeon). The equipment is the same as nysc. The movie theater plays new releases every weekend, I hardly go to the real movies anymore. The laundry room is open 24/7, I never have a problem getting machines. The amenity lounge is huge! Free wifi is a nice feature. I can get lost down there for hours.
Overall, I love my new home.

Above reviewer is either a) on crack or b) from management. Read all the other reviews. Dont be fooled. Everything on there is --------! "gym is seldom crowded" - that's because everything is broken. They've had signs up that they're renovating for almost 5 months. "I never have a problem getting machines" - there are about 10 washers for a 20 floor building. Dont believe any of this...execpt for the doormen. They are great.

Also agree... this is a management shill. They did this before when they took heat, and now are trying to save them selves. Expect to start seeing a positive review on every other negative review. This building sucks.

The management said the elevator was "almost finished" for the last 10 months. The gym equipment gets fixed once a year and it lasts about 3 weeks before it breaks again. Did anyone else notice that the gym cable was canceled 6 months ago? Now you can watch CSPAN, spanish network television or home shopping network to distract yourself from the horrible screeching your eliptical machine is making... sweet dude! The carelessness and stubbornness of management extends to any issue you may have during your lease... believe me, I've had way too many. Can't wait to move in a couple of days.
