I just moved into 67 wall from Chicago, and like a lot of people, I was nervous after reading all the negative reviews on here. I will say that I think the reviews are really extreme- I see some small flaws, but it is not that bad. Here are the things I will complain about- my apartment was not as clean as it should have been when it was handed to me, and there are some small things that need to be fixed that maintenance seems to be taking a LONG time to get to. But those are issues you can see in Chicago too! As I came to NY fully expecting a much lower level of service that what you'd see in Chicago, I'm not too bothered...I have had no problem with the elevators, and no big problem with noise. The walls do seem really thin, but my neighbors don't make any undue noise.I suppose if they were loud, it would really stink. Overall, I don't know whether I will stay with this management when my lease is up. They are hardly bad, but not anything special either. I think I'm just too new to NY to know whether I can expect any better in a different building. I did see most of the buildings in this area....I thought that the people at 10 Hanover were rude, and their units were small and poorly kept. While I liked the unit sizes at 45 Wall (huge), the leasing agent may have been the biggest jerk I have ever encountered- enough to make me say I will NEVER rent with Rockrose. 37 Wall was nice, but the units were really small. 90 Washington is ridiculously overpriced for the space you get, and the finishes are not nice. And the new Dwell building is...interesting. That's all I can say.

Welcome to the building! We'll see if you still like it after a year!

yeah...I'm hoping my opinion doesn't plummet, especially since I've signed an 18 month lease:)
