I do not understand alot of the negativity here. I looked at a majority of buildings in the downtown area and am very pleased with my decision.
The staff gave me the real deal and I made a real choice. 3 months later, I am very happy.

I guess I would agree with you as well. You ARE dumb! First, I do not believe you've had that many leaks and stayed in the apartment. Even if you are as dumb as you claim, you would have had the common sense to get out of there. Second, i have had nothing but positive experiences so far. And being the positive person that I am, I expect it to continue.

Glad you had positive experiences. Out of the 50 or so other residents with whom I have spoken, you are the only one without a complaint. You must be one lucky shill, er, tenant. The first problem with the leaks is that they only happen when it rains. If you are a trusting person, and you believe what the management staff tells you, then you believe the problem was fixed. Even though it wasn't fixed the first time, it MUST be fixed the second time, right? WRONG. Management is dishonest and ownership is cheap at the expense of tenants' well-being. The other problem is long-term leases. WARNING: DO NOT sign a long term lease in the building. If you do, your troubles will be ignored. A/C floods, cigarette smoke coming into the apartment from floors below, leaks, and elevators that are broken for TEN MONTHS STRAIGHT can all be yours if you lease at the crest. I'm happy to be gone. Also, good luck getting your security deposit back. Unless you hound management every day for two months, and threaten to take them to court, they will be happy to conveniently forget to mail you your check. Life is hard enough without having to deal with the hassles of this building.

Its remarkable how consistent this past comment is with my own experiences regarding: cigarette smoke from other floors, elevators broken for 1 year, A/C issues, leaks, not getting deposit back, unresponsive management company, etc. One positive note: the doormen are very very good, with the exception of that one doorman who allowed a tenant to be attacked in the lobby.
