All things considered, a good move

Yes it's true, the office staff is incompetant and rude, the doormen are grumpy (unless they're trying to direct you to a drycleaner that "takes care of them"), the hallways are plain ugly, and the hardwood floors could use refinishing. However, the view is phenominal, the apartment is big by NYC standards, the concrete walls keep the apartments quiet, and all you need to do to hang pictures is drill some holes. The utilities are low, and so is the rent. It may not be the Taj Mahal, but the rent on a one bedroom is around the same as a dark studio across the street. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
