I lived in a studio in building 600 the entire year of 2006. I had a pleasant experience. By the time I left the elevators were much better, so you don't have to worry about that anymore. Its a crowded building would be my only real complaint. That and the windows were filthy. But the doorman, porters, etc were all great. John and Oscar are wonderful doormen. Overall I would recommend this place.

"Its a crowded building " - perhaps they should rent out every OTHER apartment, so that would leave more space for this resident? It's simply a big building and, with the dogs and babies, it does get crowded in lobby sometimes. But that's a function of the building's large size.
