I've heard they are between $3400 and $3500. If you are new to the building, know they charge insane amounts of money for the energy - especially during the winter for some reason (heating). We had a $500 bill in January.

wow...that is huge and completely not what they tell you when you call and ask...I think deals are done for less than that and they don't tell you.

2-bedroom apts go for $3500. Doubt you get 3-beds for that price. If you call the rental office - ---- will tell you Gateway is full (except 40% of Wall Street workers have been laid off and there are a few empty apartments on every floor). Agree on energy. Gateway makes a lot of money from energy bills. Scam.

We just moved into a renovated (kitchen, floors) one-bedroom on a high floor with a fabulous view for just under $3,000. Saw some other renovated one-bedrooms without view in the $2,500-$2,600 range. We moved from an unrenovated, no view 2-bedroom, 2-bath at Gateway. They offered to hold our rent at its currnet level, just under $4,000. We said we'd stay if they cut the rent by $1,000. They counter-offered with a $500 rent cut. Hope that helps you put it in the ball park. A Gateway neighbor who wants to down-sized to a one-bedroom said they're offering two months free rent to newcomers. Finally, as noted above, the utility costs in the winter are insane.
