I have lived in Herald Towers for 4 years and it has been a largely positive experience. The building is clearly old and refurbished, but then you are paying half the rent you may pay in a Trump property, so it meets expectations. I have found maintenance to be great, I've rarely waited for more than a day to have anything fixed. Location is great in terms of subways and tourist attractions, but isn't a residential location for the most part. People complain about crowds but that rarely matters given you don't live on the sidewalk. Noise control is good thanks to solid walls. Some units facing the inside are very dark, others have lots of light.
