The landlord doesn't care about anyone. Services are few. The original tenants struggle to pay rent. Two different programs, Section 8 and Lap which both are horrible. Section 8 tenants are paying more than Lap tenants because the program takes 30% of your gross pay. You just can't get ahead. A gargage that just keeps going up in price. Endless construction that is making me sick. The original tenants are still fighting to win rent stablization and the landlord keeps getting away with it. Tribeca was founded by this complex and all the trust fund babies are living here. This neighborhood had character because of Independence Plaza. We lived through September 11 and much more. The landlord is in for a big surprise no one is going to be able to afford $3,000 - $ 6,000 an apartment. Open your eyes everyone is losing there jobs. The economy is weak. The little man should win, " rent stabilization for Us" . We deserve it.

New Renters beware of this Albatross.
1 year lease that will inflate by 20% upon renewal.
Tenants flee this place after 1st year is up and no one
renews their lease. Cheap construction, filthy laundry is
shared by many garage staff, domestics, and trade workers who come there to use the bathroom, stink up the room then leave. This place is a PIGSTY.
