This converted office building has a nice Deco lobby, but it looks/feels like your going to an office, not home. It's Not a true luxury building at all, the very plain units are fairly sized with basic entry level kitchens/baths. The floor landings & hallways are basic hotel fair, but always clean, in fact the property is very well kept. The roof deck is tiny and just that a deck w/ couple chairs -do it right or don't bother. The gym is quite good, but usually very warm....In house store/cleaners are great. If you're up high the Loud traffic noise from the highway/tunnels is reduced and the views are great. But note, that the west river views will be blocked by two towers going up in '05-07. Rose own this property and took the greedy el cheapo way out during 9/11 (the bldg. was hit hard) and during that winter the HVAC pipes burst in our neighbors unit causing several thousand $ worth of damage and Rose turned the cheek even though it was their fault. The staff is seasoned & wonderful!
