Moved in a few months ago after my rent was raised $400. per month at another complex. The rental agent went out of her way to help me. She stayed late to meet me and then kept in touch until my perfect apartment became available. The view I have here of the city inspires me every morning when I open the shades. The staff has responded to my maintenance requests quickly. The front desk staff is always friendly and thorough
After living for years in Midtown, I find Manhattan Park to be quiet, safe, and convenient. Both my wallet and mind are happy that I made the move.

This was clearly written by the management. Here's how I can tell.
You said: "The rental agent went out of her way to help me."
There's a laugh. Perhaps you mean "The rental agent went out of her way to be extremely difficult when I tried to accomplish something small that would only take five minutes of her time." Just try to obtain a copy of your lease - I can guarantee it will take at least 2 months. I speak from personal experience.

While I have noticed that the rental agent has stayed late, this only added to my frustration that they refused to help me. For instance, due to no fault of our own, our movers arrived 30 minutes after the 5PM move in deadline, and we were barred from moving in. Even though there was a person in the rental office at the time, she refused to let us use the service elevator in our building (which was not being used at the time) to move in. We faced the prospect of having no clothes, no furniture, and nowhere else to stay for the night until we finally, after an hour of negotiations, were given a 30 minute allowance to move everything we owned in our apartment. Again - please note, no one was using the service elevator at this time.
This is only an example of the false the statements in the previous statement.
I agree that the apartments are a nice size and that the view of the river is great. If you can put up with the run-around that the management office gives residents, then by all means move here. But don't believe anything positive anyone says about this management company!

Quietness, view, and rent are something to be appraised, but everything other than construction being rated perfect 5? Good try management office! Also, they are incredibly unhelpful and thinks very little about tenants, yet pitch the office staff as their selling point? Nerve of these guys! (guys at the front desk are nice though)

The location is great and the staff are all right but it is the management that are horrendous. They have this need to enforce their stupid rules like the no moving in after 5pm with no considerations for the tenants. The gym in 30 has been "in repair" for the last six months and to be frank the whole building needs a face lift.
