Not bad if you're 22, sucks if you're 30.

Years at this apartment: 1996 - 2003
I lived here from 1992 to 2003. My rent for a SE facing 1/1 started at $1,450 and when I moved out I paid about $1,800.00. I recently looked up the building to see what my old apartment would go for and I was shocked at what they were trying to charge for rent. The building was ok when it was new in 1992 but the management NEVER replaced the appliances in my 11 years living there... the only 'upgrade' they did was to install smaller toilets. The neighborhood frankly sucks... I would usually go to the west side for dinner and nightlife (I did hang out at the Outback and Ski Bar when those were around though). If you're considering "Dormandie Court" then this is probably an upgrade, but if you are out of your 20's then do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Oh, and the sirens... wow... forget about it.
