This is one of the worst run buildings, ever. I was overcharged on my rent for the first 6 months that I lived in the building; I even gave management 3 copies of my lease, and they did nothing to rectify the situation, but did manage to be rude and defensive. The front desk staff, especially at night, have refused me service on every occassion that I have needed assistance; like when my heater broke during a blizzard and they refused to send maintenance to my apartment to fix it. I had similar problems getting maintenance to come to my apartment on 2 occssions when my built in, air conditioing unit broke and ruined the fake, teak wood floor. The people at the front desk are obnoxious, lazy, and they lie a great deal. The elevators often don't work. There is also loud construction on the 96th st side. The up side of living in this building is that the people who live in it are nice and friendly, and the doormen on the day shift are good.
