OK, I live in the 215 building right now and have had no problems with pests/roaches(with the exception of the nearly microscopic beetles than come out from the a/c unit from time to time... kind of annoying).

The doormen are not particularly nice. Not personable at all. They do their job....pretty much.

It's a good location b/c the subway is close by.

It's also good b/c I can just run downstairs to the grocery store.

The elevators SUCK. Every morning, I have to wait. Even on the WEEKENDS, I have to wait!!! One of them is broken down, almost all the time. It's rediculous.

What also sucks is that the rent is being jacked up this year. I would have signed a new lease if they weren't raising the rent 225/month over the next 2 years.... Pretty pathetic. No studio(yes, studio) is worth that kind of money.

Oh yeah, and there is a new hi-rise being built across the street from me. It almost completely blocks my view!

Someone told me that I should try to negotiate the rent on the new lease. My calls were not returned. Oh wait, once, by some secretary saying at the person responsible was going on vacation and would address the situation... But no, they didn't even acknowledge me!

So now I'm moving into a brownstone...

Same thing happened to me with the rent--and no one wanted to talk--oh--one woman Patty offered me and new refrigato--but mine had been broken for a month and no one had time to fix it...isn't that funny-she was going to due her job and that should make me want to pay an extre 225 a month--over 2000 a month for a studio--lol--I pay six hundred less on 94th st- in a one bedroom with 2 baths--lol
