The foreign maintenance and doorman staff along with the racist management office makes living better in the gestapo. For entertainment, playing hopscotch over the dog feces is the best. As far as the elevator issues, the neighbors apartment odors and noise, everything is true - just horrible. You can stand at the elevator and smell every cuisine there is. You can actually hear anyone's telephone or apt conversation by just waiting for the elevator for 15 mins. The laundry room is great for its convenient hours and security. Thats it! You're guaranteed to lose money or come home w/o your clothes being completely cleaned or dried. Your clothes cannot possibly get cleaned with a half-filled tank of water. Also, "the Dormandy" is not a kid-friendly residence. Overall, if you dont need the convenience of the diverse transportation, move to harlem and call limousine service.

The "foreign" maintenace? Who's being racist here? They're actually the second best thing about the place. At least they're nice. The best thing about Normandie? They're dog friendly. If you don't like dogs the maybe you should move to Harlem!
