To anyone considering living in Normandie Court, please read the reviews here and notice a prevailing theme - i.e. management, elevators, package room, etc. First of all the management is indeed horrible - filled with rude and utterly unhelpful people. The elevators are terrible. If one is broken, and the other is being used for moving (which in a 34 story building is often), then expect to wait 10-15 minutes to catch an elevator. It is very frustrating when going to work in the morning... the one working elevator may stop on every floor and be so packed that no one is able to get on.
The package situation is abhorrent. The management does not allow packages to be delivered to anyone who is not in their computer system... my girlfriend has had packages shipped back because they were denied delivery by the management. When I tried to remedy the situation with the staff, they informed me that I could add her name to the system by adding her as a "roomate" by paying a credit check fee ($$$). Imagine that, any relationship which I may have, I need to inform management and have then run credit checks as if its their business.
The leak in the bathroom sink has been there since I moved in and we were told that in order to fix it, the water in the whole building will need to be turned off - hence its still there.
