Beware of this building -

Stayed here for 3 years and when i was finally ready to get my own place and leave Normandie , The management had changed .

Julie the manager makes it highly impossible for anyone to re-assign a lease. She hardly is at work and always delays the paperwork- ours was delayed by 1 month and had to pay rent for an extra month

Heres our final day @ normandie

On our way out we booked evelator from 9 -11 . Since Uhaul opens at 9 @ 102 and lex we were running late by 15 mins . We called the guard - Johnson and asked him to arrange the keys for the elevator as we are running late by 15 mins .WE got a call back in 10 mins from him yelling at us that why did we call him if we are running late . !!!!

Later when we reach he tells us we dont have the elevator , and we got to get all our stuff in the hallway and then page him and only then he would release the elevator for us and get us down .

He then later asked my fiance to fill out a movers sheet ( meant for moving company ). Since we were doing a self move , fiance refused and said hes just helping me out and he doesnt belong to any moving company and hence he could not provide the details . He goes ahead and asked for identification and tells my fiance he has to hold on to his Driving License ( Which is illlegal ) No one is allowed to hold on to you licence - most they can do it take a copy and give it back . When my fiance stated that he would like to speak to the management - The guard Johnson quoted " i dont care a ---- who you speak to" and if u have an issue ill throw you out of the premises . He later calls the supervisor and even he says the same thing to my fiance .

I have formally lodged a complaint with the Management head of normandie -

IF you want to be abused and run by the guards and management @ normandie Go ahead and live here . If you have other options for accomodations seriously consider it !
