Welcome on board. This purgatory has different boot camp style behavior modification strategies granting you to end-up in hell. So, don't hesitate just give up all hopes when you contact the Management. If you happen to like a Franz Kafka style environment too, they'll have a solution for you. No problem.
The staff of management unanimously will swear under oath, that you are a liar, a notorious hell raiser, etc, and why don't you understand, that you have no rights in building whatsoever.... Please don't be ashamed, they'll take a good care of you.
Actually if your parents never bothered to teach you manner, Julie will love to do this job for you.
By the time you finally manage to get out of this correctional institute under the nickname of Dormandie, you'll really appreciate your freedom.
So, not guts, no glory! Be the next martyr!

If it's so bad, why did you stay for 13 years? Just wondering.

Wrong, much longer, than 13 years. If you were fortunate enough to move in well before 1996, your deal was a steal. Management at that time was tenant-friendly. Few years ago everything changed around, but the name of the game was low rent. It did not hurt also to hire a wild animal (by the nick of lawyer) as weird as those people - to represent your interests. Please read another victim's comments regarding the details of abuse and the role of an attorney. Julie and staff, you are very welcome no matter what your further questions might be.

I would have to say that I think "Anonymous" on 11/03/09 sounds like it might be NC staff as well. I've posted here before, a couple of times, and i'm not one of those people that reviews things such as this or anything else for that matter. But my exerience and living situation at NC was so bad, and i'll say that it was only towards the last year, that I HAVE TO warn everyone else about it. I left that building feeling like I wanted to get a lawyer and defend myself from what was going on. Like I said, I've posted about it before, the mice problem, rent increases while I was living in an unrenovated apartment, and the *EXTREMELY* rude management. I'll say that my worst experience was with Julie--and her assistant, the young woman at the front desk-- she thought she was god's gift as well. Everyone else I dealt with was pretty nice, especially Ronni and Gloria Pandler in the back offices.
