28th Floor, south facing, balcony, amazing views of Manhattan, 30 seconds walk from Times Square. I couldnt ask for more. Doormen are polite and cheerful and the front desk is exceptionally helpful with deliveries. They really do add security - they greet everyone by name and challenge anyone they don't recognise. Repairs are quickly dealt with. Large laundry with many machines - have never had to wait to find an unused machine. The dry cleaning service has been really handy too.
6 lifts plus a delivery lift for all your furniture. Roof garden has lots of space to sunbathe and is open to all residents. Haven't tried the swimming pool and gym yet as it's additional cost (but they do have 1 day, 1 week or 1 month subscriptions too - I'm just lazy). The agent assigned to help me find a property in NY showed me 7 apartments in Manhattan. This had the greatest value for money and you really cant beat the location. I'd recommend it. Most residents also seem polite/friendly and are of all ages. The firestation around the corner on 8th Avenue certainly adds to the 'sounds of New York' but if you dont like noise and atmosphere then you shouldn't be in the city. Thick double glazed windows are installed however so this helps.

Four lifts not six. Th rent was reasonable then because thre was construction going on inside the building. $3300/1br is not exactly "very reasonable" today.
