River Place Apartments

Good Apartments but Construction Work All Around From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/22/2006 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   Great apartments, with a resort theme. The views were amazing. However, I moved out in July as the building is starting construction on River Place II right next to River Place (where the outside car park used to be). Will block the city side view for many apartments, while being noisy and cluttered for a very long period while construction is going on. Construction has already begun on a different building across the street. Woke me up every morning with the sound of construction work. I was on the 28th floor, it had to have been really loud. I liked my stay there, but I think everything that I liked is not going to be there at River Place for the next few years while construction is completed. Also, for me having high definition TV in my apartment was important. As a direcTV customer RiverPlace refused to get the upgrade to the dish that was required for High definition content and for international services.
