Where does one begin....
Although the views are outstanding and the Doorstaff are Excellent....
BE WARNED...
-MAJOR Flooring Problems! (Most tenants are moving out because of this - I did).
-Maintance staff enters apartments without permission. They also Lie!
-If you do decide to rent, include a clause stating that all repairs must be completed within 24 hours.
-Hallway floors are not vacuumed on a daily or weekly basis.
-Engine Co 1 is NEXT DOOR, you WILL hear every siren!
- If there is a backup in the Lincoln Tunnel, the street becomes a NIGHTMARE! Honking, accidents, you name it!
-The hallyways and stairwell were PITCH BLACK during the blackout , no emergency lighting, despite the "welcome" kit saying there was.
-The painted stairwells become VERY slippery when wet. (Discovered during the blackout)
-They use anything cheap to perform repairs
The approach of on-site management is friendly, kind, and caring... that is until you sign the lease! Then its "THE SHE------ HAS YOUR SOUL - NOW LIVE WITH IT - GIVE US YOUR MONEY!"
The general feeling is that NO ONE seems to realize that this is YOUR home that they are dealing with.
