I've lived in Riverbank West since 2002. The door folks are absolutely so nice!! You wouldn't believe the great and friendly treatment you'll receive. It goes downhill from there. The office management staff are horrid with major attitudes!!

While new units are remodeled for new tenants, your unit will suffer until you move out. Don't even think of asking for a new refrigerator or range or dishwasher or kitchen surface because your request will be denied until you move out. Pretty sad they don't treat existing residents better.

Don't confront Marni unless you want to experience major attitude and harsh personality (that's being nice). While the maintenance staff is very friendly too, the maintenance supervisor is a dog. He & Marni must be from under the same rock..major attitude with poor customer service skills and major personality disfunction.

Furthermore, if you live anywhere in the building that's accessible via elevtor, be ready to wait or take the stairs for a faster trip. Those conveniencees are broken more than they run. You'll hear the alarm bell ringing alot. At least 1 to 2 of them always seem to be out at all times. AND don't forget to be up and shower before 9:30am. Water is shut off between that time and 5:00pm at least every week in certain apt unit lines for repairs. They've been repairing those lines since I've been a resident in 02 and they are still not fixed.

Lastly, if do happen to sign a lease, be ready for some big, and I mean BIG, rent increases after you renew. $150 to $225 a month or more isn't uncommon from what I have experienced and from what I hear from other residents. They have to pay for those constant repairs somehow. It's a pet friendly building but I guess they don't disclose that when you sign a lease. I've never seen so many pet (Dog) averse people in my life. Why people rent in a pet friendly building when they are pet averse is beyond me.
