I have lived at Riverbank almost a year. Although there is always a doorman "on duty", during that time I have opened my own damned door about 65% of the time.

The review is accurate, however as a subletter watch out if you decide to renew. Your rent will soar approx. 10% every year. Unless you are recieving increases like that at work (with this economy who is??) you'll find it harder and harder to live.
I still suspect the more $$$ they bring in, the more profitable the building, the more the mgmt staff recieves praise and bonuses. I'm sure they will continue until people stop paying and I think we are a far cry away from it being too expensive for Manhattanites...
