Keep looking...

Riverbank is an incredibly stressful place to live. Beyond the brilliant view, the building isn't worth the hassle. The staff is lazy; don't expect the doorman to actually open the door for you. The Lincoln Tunnel traffic is much worse now than five years ago; oftentimes 42nd/43rd street & Eleventh Ave are total gridlock until late at night. With the Water Taxis docking at 42nd and the Hudson, the sidewalks surrounding the building are flooded with thousands of tourists from spring through the fall. In the years that I've been there, its rare that all four passenger elevators working at the same time; not uncommon for residents to queue in line for an elevator.
If you want to view, go for it. Otherwise keep looking.
