Yup, every day there are tourists coming in and out of the building with their suitcases. Don't think it's just building residents traveling -- too many of them are people I have never seen on the elevator before, and never see again. No real surprise, tho, given what sleazebags management are.

This building is where Miracle House is. 5 apartments where people from outside of NYC who have cancer and one caregiver can stay at a greatly reduced rate. Trust me, it is no vacation and we are not tourists. It is not a hotel conversion. Miracle House pays the rent just as you do.
Now that you know, have some compassion and smile and say hello to these people in the elevator.

They are putting in a McDonalds in place of the gym and Starbucks.
And sorry Miracle House poster. You guys are legit, and god bless what you do. But the building DOES rent units as vacation rentals. Look on craigslist.org. My parents rented the unit one time when they were visiting me. Its on the 44th floor. 2 bedroom. It looks like an IKEA showroom.

Current residents - Any thoughts on where to go to workout? And, seriously, we'll have a McDonald's underneath us?
Classy.

I really don't know how anyone would want to rent from these a-holes. I'm so glad I moved. Still have not received security deposit after 3 months. Filed a complaint with Attorney General today. I agree with previous poster - yeah 'miracle house' - it wasn't just Miracle House. There were TONS of tourists renting illegally while I had to pay 3 grand a month legally with 16% increases every year. Place is a dump for the price. So glad I got out. There are so many better and more reasonable places out there in Manhattan. Save yourself the stress the building will cause you. Oh, McDonalds?? WTF.? Real classy Roseland mgt. Obviously can't get anyone else to pay the rent - have to get a giant corporation. Like you really need one there since there is one a few blocks away. Whatever. Just don't count on getting your security deposits in a timely manner. Don't understand it. It's not their money. All they need to do is tell the bank to release it. They really don't care about tenants - just making the next dollar.
