I heard they caught him renting out his corporate apartment for vacation rentals and pocketing the money!

I wouldn't be surprised! Well as anyone who's ever rented from here knows, what goes around comes around. If people are mean or unkind to other people. No wonder there were so many foreign tourists in the elevator. I wondered about that!

I heard it was a few residents who got together and complained. We're still moving out, but I hope the building does get better. It has really gotten bad.

It used to be a great building with nice friendly tenants, mainly young professionals. I still don't get what was the purpose of blocking the entrance to the Crunch gym from the 2nd floor?
I'm not going to renew the lease here as most of my friends/neighbors who live here.
The only thing I'll miss about Riverbank West is the few doormen who are always super nice and friendly. The few(not all of them, and I'm not going to name names; if you are in the bldg u know which ones are nice, which are just pretending to be nice)

Wish I had found this website before I moved in. Haven't had problems yet, other than more noise than we thought from 42nd street, but that's our own fault. Have had good experiences with the staff so far (other than the leasing staff, which should have made us walk away). Would like the ability to cool off the apartment in the winter w/o opening a window - even with the heat set to "off" it's stupid warm.

to Anonymous- re:heat in winter - You can ask one of the maintenance guys to come in and disconnect the heater. You'll still get the building heat when it drops below 45 or what ever, but you won't get the extra heat. Just remember to plug it back in in the summer or you won't get AC.

I haven't had any heat issue. I have heard a lot from other residents that Brian sanchez is a jerk and some of them are such phonies. Good thing i didn't need to see them much.
