make this place better, but I have to say, it's been a pretty lousy so far & we're moving out as soon as our lease is done. It's just a weird place & people seem to moving in and out a lot. People don't stay long.

Building staff (not everyone!) is shady & It was getting really bad, but they just fired the Building Manager and it looks like they're scrambling to patch things up. Things may get better IMHO -they're desperate for tenants. On my floor, I think I lived here the longest! And I am sure you were told, "The apartment is going to go fast, just letting you know." Noise can be a problem, but you are living next to a fire station, a police station & the lincoln tunnel. I don't think it gets much worse then that! But it is NYC -and the nIghts aren't awful. In summary, we've had an awful experience dealing with the building management. For us, it's too little too late. Maybe things will get better, but now I feel like I live in a used car sales lot and the sales pitch has gotten old No major maintenance issues for me, but I have heard from neighbors about heating and water temperature issues. the building staff? most are very nice, but some are very phoney and are pretending to be nice. Lucy in the office is the best, but she seemed to be over-worked. That over-tanned woman is a piece of work. They should've have kept that woman before Sanchez. What the hell were they thinking. And then they got rid of that Asian woman that use to be in the office.She seemed to be decent. I would move to River Place across the street, although i heard they are not any better though.
