Riverbank West
< | >
I'm in the process of moving here and just found these reviews. The rate I got was good, but there seems to be a lack of amenities with the gym leaving etc. My time is short and if I don't find something quick I'm afraid of being stuck with these negative experiences over the next year. Any suggestions on where else to look within the area' Need to be close to the 1.

look at Ivy Tower, 360 W 43rd, The Gotham, even some condo rentals in the Altier and the Orion on 42nd, and the Clinton West on 47th.

I agree - I would do yourself a favor and stay away from Riverbank West. This has to be the worst run apt in the city. So disorganized and a bunch of liars. Never seen anything like it in all the years I've been a renter. After forcing all the good Tenants out with such high rent increases they are probably regretting that decision of being so greedy. I'm guessing they are probably desperate now and may try to get "new" tenants in at a lower rate, but the party will be over after the first year. They will then raise your rent 15-20% after that. Save yourselves the headaches by avoiding this place.

Agreed. Lived here for 3 years, every year they increased it by 10-15% with no negotiation for being a good tenant-never a late payment-EVER. Finally when we were about to leave (and the market turned down), they were ready to negotiate. Happily we decided to buy instead. I would look elsewhere...The management office is the worst.
