I feel so incensed by the way I have been treated by the management that I'm compelled to write this. The attendants in the management office are one of the rudest, impertinent and incompetent people I've come across. They have this haughty demeanor and speak down to tenants even when they are at fault.
Incident 1:
I went in to try to negotiate terms for renewing my lease. The attendant, Beaux, said he could help me, but then his phone rang and he spent 5 mins on a personal call while I was just waiting in the hallway. I told someone else I wasn't being attended to and then Beaux had the arrogance to shout at me and say he was serving me. Needless to say, I did not renew my rent after that.
Incident 2:
I put my rent check in the drop box on time, but on the morning after it was due, i went by the box to check up on it. I found that they left my check in the box. I went to the office and again talked to Beaux and complained. He would not accept that he left my check in the box and instead just keep on saying ' late is late', as if I were a kindergarten student late for class.
I then talked to Juan, the new Operations Director, who on first arriving claimed he 'looked forward to helping us with all our needs'. He again refused to believe that Beaux forgot to pick up my check and again repeated like a broken record 'late is late'. I then changed tact and asked what difference does it make if they got my check 30 mins late ( they had a pile of checks right on the desk) and instead of reasoning to me, again just repeated 'late is late'.
I can go on with these stories from my year at this place. Did i also mention how the air conditioning doesn't work, the heater breaks down every week and my toilet cover wouldn't stand up (I had to lift and hold it every time).
I'm finally glad to be done with this place. Do not recommend it to anyone.

I hate the way we're treated too. This building has become a college dorm. The older folks won't put up with this BS and are leaving. It's a shame too. Five years ago, this building was a gem. Now it has no amenities and the staff could care less.

I used to be a tenant in this hotel/building and may I say the management is arrogant, obnoxious and demeaning. Im sooo glad I left this motel. The mgt. acts as if they OWN the building and treat residents as if they're idiots. Juan is no better in attitude and demeanor that the last train wreck (AKA THIEF) they had in there.. And please get the Stepford Wives smile off your face.. i'ts as fake as your tan! And if a resident has a question, dont blow us off and have no answer.. try to get the information to us. Remember as long as they're people living there, YOU HAVE A JOB! DO YOUR JOB! Your piss poor attitudes will render your jobs obsolete.. See you on the unemployment line.. and remember the way you treat people will come back tenfold.. Karma is a B*%CH!!

I'm so glad I got out when I did. It just seems to get worse and worse there. Mel Silva is a whack job for sure. She totally screwed up my security deposit and only got it to me when I filed a law suit. She is a complete imbecile. I love the comment about the Stepford Wives smile - it's totally true. They are so fake in that office isn't not funny. I'm glad you (Mel) think these posts are entertaining because I think it's sad for the people living in that building that they have a nutcase like you working there. Worst run place I've lived in and I will do everything in my power to make sure people know what kind of ride they are in for if they choose to live there. The place was totally fine when Marni Berke was there. It all went down hill from there.

I lived at Riverbank West only 7 months and every single day I lived there I felt extremely uncomfortable. I knew it was only too good to be true when I moved in. It all hit the fan when I had to move out in two weeks. They had the audacity to ask for a pet fee, meanwhile I never get a cent back from it, when I am being kicked out for the very creature you say was welcomed there. I think the concierge desk is great, but some are phony. Maria in Valet please inform people that your maid service is outsourced to other facilities and/or places. Especially that the cleaning appts. are never punctual because they were up the block at The Strand. So to the people of Roseland Properties, thanks for nothing...Congratulations, because in a matter of 7 months alone, I've seen 7 apartments turn over on my floor alone than any building I've ever lived in. Crunch Gym and Starbucks are no longer there because of you guys. You guys are too greedy!! So Good luck to anyone moving in or already living there. It's only because the number one reason I despise Riverbank West, is that every single day the staff made me feel that I was never coming home. It was a hotel I was staying at. Well thank you for stealing my pet fee. I hope to see the security deposit, but unfortunately for me after reading these posts, I have a better chance at seeing GOD than getting a cent back from you guys. People please decide on another building, this place is the pits! I rather sleep in a homeless HIV tuberculosis ridden dump than do this again. Sorry Riverbank just doesn't make the cut. No wonder you have a 13% rating. I should have listened to what everyone was already saying about you.

For some reason, I found Mel to be communicable and reasonable. Yes, a bit caffeinated but nice. I just hate the arrogant higher up management. Brian got fired I think. Juan is next because of his defensive arrogant fits. Not a good environment for tenants. PS. I love Desin the maintenance guy.
