After a busy 4th of July, I had come back to drop off rent on the 6th. "You have to pay 10% of rent extra, and money order only"

I asked the square faced staff in the office on when is the latest date. "the 6th of the month". It was the morning of the 6th of the month and he was giving incoherent stuttering reasons to why I still have to cut the extra check.

Really' This is news to all of us since we have a life during the holidays and had to pay the rent 1 day late. (ONE DAY)

Aside from the great job of front office and dry cleaning, the rest are nothing short of greedy and desperate swine excrement.

not surprised, there have been several posts of the late policy and complaints with so many people getting nabbed by the enforcement of late fees just makes me think the building has too many stupid kids living there HELLO THE FIRST OF THE MONTH IS ALWAYS ON THE FIRST, regardless of holidays PLAN AHEAD, PLAN YOUR LIFE!!!

Rent is due on the first of the month. There is a grace period of 5 days. This is clearly stated on the lease and at the rent drop mailbox - this isn't difficult! If you have problems remembering to pay your rent, set up an online bill payment - most banks offer that for free. Really simple and then you never have to think about when to get your rent in. Drives me nuts how many people complain about this when it's a really simple thing to make easy for yourself!

Hey Juan, I'm really sorry that I did not know because this is the first time I thought it was a newfound policy because I've never paid rent late. Never. How dare I expect that you would have the ability to understand and be flexible. (bows three times to the mighty landlord..) I shall be bursting with fruit flavors everytime it gets near the first of the month with great excitement and anticipation. Can't wait to drop that mother in!!! Keep up the good work there now, Juan, and don't get canned!!

For the geezer that thinks there's a lot of stupid kids, not really being called young adults that way-- just like you being called a geezer. I believe you voted for obama and have been a vegetarian and everything in your life is sparkling and your spouse never left you and you bend over and take it from Daddy because you deserved it. Your organization skills is superb. You plan your life well, I hope that makes you feel superior and you should be proud of yourself. Compensation rocks. Some punctual people do plan ahead but ---- still happens so you take a boniva and chill out and reflect on how your awesome life is to compensate your inner series of unbecomings.

It's a younger crowd now. It's not a "family" building anymore. All of the long time renters have moved out and it's a 'party" building now, so it makes sense that people are complaining about late fees and such.
