I rented at Savoy Park last year. I left soon after I moved in as it became clear tha my expectations would NEVER be met by management of the complex; they were rude, slow, office hours are not geared to those of us that actually WORK for a living, and they lied about the buildings going co-op in just a few months. I was also told that the grounds would be re landscaped in the spring (2008) which never happened, and there were several drive-by shootings in the neighborhood when I left. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY. SAVOY PARK IS MARKETED AS AN UPSCALE COMMUNITY IN THE "NEW" HARLEM. THE REAL TRUTH IS, IT IS IN ONE OF THE WORST NEIGHBORHOODS, AND YOU WILL DEFINITELY REGRET IT. Please don't just take my word for it, please read more of the reviews here and see for yourself. If the rent seems cheap for New York City, there is a real reason for that. You could lose your life living in this trap.

I agree 100%. I went to visit the Savoy park and "upscale" was not. It wants to take credit for time past -historic- no longer there. It is an OK area but NOT luxurious. M

I am a tenant in Savoy Park and have lived here for over 10 years and in Harlem my entire life. While I agree that the management is not in favor of the long time tenants, I take offense to the writer's comment. This NOT one of the worst neighborhoods in Harlem. You must be one of the folks that Vantage thought they were going to bring in to drive us out. Take a tour around Harlem and you'll come across neighborhoods that are in much worse shape than ours. The new management sucks and they should be ashamed at the way we are treated.
