don't do it.

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
We have recently just moved out of "Stuy Town" in hopes for a better place to live.
This place was upsetting and a huge dissapointment. After one week of moving into hte apartment there were roaches all over the kitchen, when maintanace came to "spray" he said it was because of all the food we had-- all that was CLOSED mind you. Don't people have to eat'!
The noise is a problem, the walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING.. like we have read in a prevoius post the stairwells do smell like pee, and now I know its due to staff peeing in them!
The residents are RUDE and have no reguards for others. The people that are rent stabalized think that they own the rights to the building assuming we were NYU students, but no we're just a young professional couple.
Tenants tend to leave their garbage in the hallways of the floor and outside the trash room, the laundry rooms are always down and watch out for your stuff, it will dissapear.
The management will give you a run around about EVERYTHING, it will be impossible for you to get anything fixed. My tub backed up SIX TIMES IN TWO WEEKS, they said it was my fault. Nothing had been done out of the ordinary, what else can you do but shower'
The space is great, I'll give them that but for over $3,000 a month' I can buy a condo thank you.
Please look around for other apartments, don't be naieve and let the large space excite you like it did us.
JUST DON'T DO IT..
