Bad decision

Moving into this building was a big mistake and one that I regret. The building is in a fantastic location and there is a garage attached to the building. However, I do not think that the building is well kept at all. The hallways are not clean, the carpet is old and soiled, the lighting is poor, wallpaper is ripping/peeling off the walls, and the equipment in the gym is falling apart. I have asked repeatedly about replacing the equipment in the gym, and so far nothing has been done. The equipment is old, broken, and dangerous. I feel that the rent is extrememly high. Also, when it comes to resigning your lease prepare yourself for a $300 to $500 increase. A final note, the building is currently under construction (the outside of the building). The noise is horrible. It is nonstop drilling all day long and the management company has done very little to compensate us for this huge inconvenience. Sadly, I also feel that my concerns are often dismissed. I am very upset with this building and hope to find somewhere else to live. I am very disappointed and sadened by all of this.
