Gone downhill ...
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 11/10/2007
Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2007
We moved into 140 in 2003 and loved it - decent rent, great management, great employees. But since Equity took over things have gone downhill. Security is lax. The buildings are not as clean or as well-maintained as they used to be. And rents are raised an exhorbitant amount every year. Before Equity took over, our rent was increased by only $80 per month after two years for our one-bedroom apartment. When Equity took over, our rent was increased by $800 after one year for the same apartment. We then moved to a two bedroom in 160 and after one year, our rent has been increased by $500 per month. We really love the area and don't want to move but we refuse to pay these ridiculous rents especially with the services going down hill so we are moving out. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC
