Great location, bad maintenance/management

As it has been already said, the location is great, however management is impossible to deal with.
Very discriminatory, check-the-box approach during the admission (and the building agent does not help whatsoever, but makes the process even more frustrating). Of course, nobody mentioned the Alice Tulley Hall reconstruction when I was about to sign the lease. It is really NOISY outside and you can hear it.
What is more annoying is that currently management is KICKING OUT OLD TENANTS in order to renovate their apartments and increase the rents. The renovations are not that impressive, but rents are increased in some cases by 100%. No negotiation is allowed. Some tenants don't even want to bother to object to the increases as (i) they know they would not be heard whatsoever, and (ii) the annoyed management can ruin their file and not give a positive reference (so their relationship with the next landlord might get into jeopardy).
If you decide to move-in, take the application process seriously and pay attention strange, outdated, burocratic requests by agent and management. Be aware that these will continue.
