I wrote the comment about "Good Value" before, and to my disappointment, the renewal on our apartment went up $200 for a 1 bedroom, smallest plan by sq footage they have, on a low floor. Our friends at 420 West 42nd St by contrast, only saw a $100 increase on a high floor large sq footage 1 bedroom. Roommate and I spoke to leasing office in person twice, and called numerous times to negotiate lease renewal to a more favorable rate, only to find that the outgoing leasing manager does not care (and we wonder if he really brought our negotiated amounts to the management at all, seeing he has to "look up" our case each time... you'd think he'd know which case we're talking about if he was actively doing something about it). Very very disappointed. Thought rumors of bad management wasn't true, but can see it clearly affecting us now. Don't expect to stay here for long.
