Do not EVER rent an apartment at the Victory unless you are foolish enough to get suckered into their bait & switch rent hikes. My lease renewal went up 25%!!! $610 monthly increase for one year and $700 increase for a two year lease. My attempts to negotiate this amount down was futile as the Leasing Agent was completely uncooperative, uninterested and a complete pain to deal with. A total nightmare. In the end, they were only willing to knock $90 off their asking price. Which still brought the rent increase to OVER 22%!!! What they are doing here is completely criminal. I feel completely violated as a tennant. I urge anyone considering signing a lease here to reconsider. A deal with Satan would be a better option.

Our rent went up 35% over two years. Totally unacceptable and borderline criminal. Adding insult to injury, the August storm caused flooding on the 7th floor incl. most of the apts on that floor. Water was pouring (not dripping) from the ceiling and light fixtures. Blame it on poor construction. My neighbor's electronic equipment was damaged to the tune of $4000 - no compensation or apologies from the management. He didn't have insurance to cover water damage - you wouldn't think you need it living in a modern and relatively new hi-rise. Needless to say, we have moved to something better. The only positive thing about this dump is that the staff are generally friendly (except management and leasing office).
