This building used to be a good value. Now the rent is the SAME as buildings in the area like Ivy Tower and the zebra building, but the resident manager is awful, the bathtubs clog once a month, and for $5000 per month, you share a building with low income housing members. avoid this building if at all possible.

also, as the prior person mentioned, the apartment building is freezing, to almost illegal levels. I am filing a complaint with the health department.

In summary, avoid this building. If you wish to live in hell's kitchen, there are a bunch of other doorman buildings that are not awful like this one.

It only gets worse here... recently a man was stabbed here in the back. He bled all over the elevator and collapsed in the lobby in front of the ever unattentive door man. Absolutely frightening that such an unsafe element are allowed to constantly walk in unchecked. The building is not safe. And not supervised. Earlier this year I was shoved in the back exiting the elevator on a Sunday evening by some rowdy, piss drunk twenty-somethings that had been drinking all day on the patio and urinating in the hallways. The worst building I've ever lived in. Unkept and unsafe. And the prices continue to soar despite the parque floor rotting away and the ceilings leaking.
