I will tell you stay off dealing with Bernadette. Her southern mild-mannered looks belie the raging arrogance that lies beneath.

She chose not show us all the apartments that were avaiable at the time of leasing. We later found out that there were more apartments available. When I broached it with her, she became very defensive and arrogantly stated that she did not need to show me or tell me of all apartments that were available (illegal under the fair housing act). When asked if I could speak to someone above her, she basically showed me the door and said good luck trying to complain against me or going above my head to anyone.

Beware! That is the kind of accountability that you'll get here.

I live there. No disagreement. Management office is horrendous.

Absolutely true, hav lived there for many years and it seems that with the grunds improvements the attitude of management has deteriorated below any acceptable human level, they wll insult you and dare you mention tenantsrights, laugh in your face, avoid avoid avoid

Had a similar experience as that described in the first post. Got referred to this place by a friend who is a current resident. The lady at the front desk was rude beyond belief. Their website showed specific apartments which were available but upon arrival I was shown some very shabby apartments (they probably try to dump the one's they have trouble renting). Upon enquiring about the ones on the website, I was told there was nothing more available and to check back. My firend tells me that they are not running as full as they claim. This is NYC in 2009 my friends -- lowest rental occupancy rates in Manhattan in decades -- look elsewhere!
