I'm moving out of the NYU dorm formerly known as Stuy Town, and I've just visited Waterside. I can't believe how nicely they have upgraded this place. I looked here about 10 years ago and wasn't that impressed, but I gather they have gone overboard to attract market tenants, investing in landscaping, lobbies, and interiors/kitchens. A few years ago I believe their rents were high, but with the recent recession they are offering some excellent deals, including throwing in free health club. This is so far top on my list because of the views, size of apartment, and 24 hour doormen.

good luck, just so you know the one year membership for the health club is $660, given the facts that you think the market rate Waterside charges is an excellent deal, the health club fee should be pocket change for you.
