Terrible From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/28/2008 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2008   The fire wasn't the worst part. The whole building is falling apart. For the greater part of the last year at least one if not two of the elevators have not been working. The fire alarm system has been 'being fixed' since March 12 (i.e., a few days after the fire) and is still not done (April 28). The water was shut off for most of the apartments for a day in the last week - no reason or warning given. They told me that I could get one free window washing when I moved in, when I asked for it, the super (who is useless) said they didn't have a window washer and I should call the rental company. When the washing machine didn't work, they said I should call the washer company. When the TV in the gym didn't work - well, that's still not really working. After the fire, the first floor repainted/recarpeted/etc. was the 2nd (it has 2 apartments and the 'gym', most other floors have about 10, but it has the super's office on it - so clearly the priority). And on and on and on. The only thing that they seem to be on track on is raising the rent right on schedule every year.
