This building is terrible. Besides being across from the projects, the building has deteriorated so badly over the last few years that I have been there that it has grown unsightly. Management has been nothing short of awful in terms of keeping the premises clean, and the doormen happy (they are miserable, trust me).
55 WEA is across from a western beef which reeks of tainted beef when the doors are opened and the crowd that lingers in front of the store is not too friendly.
The owner recently sold the space on the west and south of the building, so its construction 24/7.
The streets are filthy, the rents are high, and I am outta here!
