Been here for 8 months now in a corporate apartment and we are looking to do a year lease. You must like dogs here as you will see them everywhere and cannot ride the elevator without one every other time. The building is rent stabilized and there are a few low income apartments in the building but that has not been a problem for us.

Construction is a problem as yet again another Trump tower is being built outside the windows (as will several more) Construction noise is fairly loud if you are on the west side and goes on from 6:30ish am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday and sometimes on Saturday. This will go on for at least another year or so. Since we are early risers and both at work all day it is ot much of a problem

The lobby staff are great, friendly, professional and get the job done. We use the shuttle bus every morning to Columbus Circle to catch the metro. You can walk literally 1 block and enter the Lincoln center garage's west exit o 63rd and then remain underground all the way to the 66th street metro stop - which is great when it is raining. The "projects" are across the street but we have never had any problems or concerns and walk our dog there each morning as there are plenty of trees. There is not the plethora of restaurants within 2 or even 3 blocks, but there is plenty of delivery and around the Lincoln center and above 72nd are plenty options we walk to.

The river park is a key advantage as is the river views. It is nice to run or blade without intersections and the river park in the summer had many concerts and fun activities. We also walk to central park from here on a regular basis.

The gym in the building is not bad, it seems to keep changing owners but service remains the same. Very bored receptionists and rap type music sometimes is played so loudly your ipod cant keep up.

Parking is risky at the 55 building we tried it read the ratings and had our scratches and dings but we now park in the 101 WE garage and highly recommend them great service and care for the cars we pay 400 a month
